Do I need Shopify Plus for B2B?

Yes. Shopify B2B is a Plus-only feature set, including company accounts, custom catalogues, price lists, and PO checkout. The £2,000/month Plus subscription is part of the equation; we factor it in when sizing your project.

Can I run B2B and DTC on the same Shopify store?

Yes — that is the whole point of Shopify Plus B2B. One store, two customer experiences. Trade customers log in and see net pricing, MOQs, and PO checkout. Retail customers see the standard storefront. Inventory, content, and analytics stay in one place.

How does pricing sync with our ERP work?

We build a middleware layer (typically Node + queues) that syncs price lists, inventory, and orders bidirectionally with your ERP — NetSuite, Linnworks, Cin7, Brightpearl, or Unleashed. Idempotent, observable, with retry handling — engineered for BFCM-scale throughput rather than no-code happy-path flows.

What about VAT and international tax for Shopify B2B?

Shopify Plus handles standard tax calculation. For complex cases (reverse charge, EU OSS, US sales tax, country-specific exemptions) we layer Avalara or TaxJar. Tax integration is quoted bespoke based on your jurisdictions and customer mix.

How long does a Shopify B2B build take?
